In the 46th match minute, TSV Delliehausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Rexhaus to maneuver through the defense. FC 08 Brühl's Erasmus Kammholz got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half FC 08 Brühl were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the game, FC 08 Brühl's Lukas Podolski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Vogelsang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as FC 08 Brühl's Kuno Wittwer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Simon Vogelsang. That made the score 0-5 after 61 minutes of play. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Simon Vogelsang successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The attack was good, but when Kuno Wittwer in the 65th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Christian Plate hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Lukas Podolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dieter Kapelle kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. TSV Delliehausen's Simon Vogelsang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save TSV Delliehausen from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Erasmus Kammholz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Simon Vogelsang. That made the score 0-7 in the 74 minute of play. Simon Vogelsang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kuno Wittwer went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score.
