Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Sandor Borchert made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Borussia Ostermoordorf getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Jaro Stand hit a great ball. Kuno Wittwer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aage Weiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas Podolski in the 4th minute of play. FC 08 Brühl's Rurik Ellinghaus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaspar Berger in the 7th minute of play. Aage Weiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Bernlöhr in the 12th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Erasmus Kammholz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aage Weiss quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aage Weiss didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lukas Podolski went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Lukas Podolski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC 08 Brühl fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Rurik Ellinghaus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achim Schuchter in the 27th minute of play. After 30 played minutes FC 08 Brühl got a freekick which was hit by Ingolf Bloch. 31 minutes into the match, FC 08 Brühl's goal looked a bit too open when Kaspar Berger came free, but Rurik Ellinghaus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raphael Beilmann scored 1-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rurik Ellinghaus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benjamin Oppenheim charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamin Oppenheim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, Borussia Ostermoordorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Oppenheim to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lukas Podolski was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Borussia Ostermoordorf's goalkeeper Aage Weiss, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Borussia Ostermoordorf's Aage Weiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Bernlöhr in the 61st minute of play. Aage Weiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Podolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Reşit Selman sped through Borussia Ostermoordorf's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aage Weiss. With a little luck, Borussia Ostermoordorf's Aage Weiss got control of the ball when Lukas Podolski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute, Kuno Wittwer made a precise shot to the right of Aage Weiss. Borussia Ostermoordorf's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. If Erasmus Kammholz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Borussia Ostermoordorf's Raphael Beilmann got a free kick in the 85th minute. Borussia Ostermoordorf's Aage Weiss proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Borussia Ostermoordorf from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Borussia Ostermoordorf's Aage Weiss got control of the ball when Kuno Wittwer tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 94 minutes, Sascha Kästner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC 08 Brühl and the Borussia Ostermoordorf players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Sascha Kästner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rurik Ellinghaus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandor Borchert, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. FC 08 Brühl's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
