Engelbert Heidemann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoph Tiede in the 13th minute of the match. Maiko Kressl kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 34th minute Ante Kopitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Engelbert Heidemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes of play, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Jamal Gläsel made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Engelbert Heidemann was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the game, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Christoph Tiede nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Engelbert Heidemann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. In the 41st minute Dobromir Robev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Engelbert Heidemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Engelbert Heidemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamal Gläsel, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christoph Tiede to make the kick off. Engelbert Heidemann made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Christoph Tiede sent off a good shot on target. Jamal Gläsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the game, Holger Buchmüller was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Hamburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DJK Füchtel Vechta the free kick. DJK Füchtel Vechta made a substitution. Niklaus Inderdohnen replaced Ren Zhan Cheng. A collision led to FC Hamburg getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Holger Buchmüller hit a great ball. Engelbert Heidemann came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by DJK Füchtel Vechta's Jamal Gläsel. But to his dismay, Jamal Gläsel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hamburg's zone, Christoph Tiede stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Engelbert Heidemann came out of the goal and Christoph Tiede tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Jamal Gläsel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DJK Füchtel Vechta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. In the 67th minute of the match, Dobromir Robev got a very nice opportunity to score, but Engelbert Heidemann was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, FC Hamburg's Engelbert Heidemann got control of the ball when Dobromir Robev tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute Jamal Gläsel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Engelbert Heidemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match, Jamal Gläsel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Engelbert Heidemann saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Engelbert Heidemann made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Dobromir Robev sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th play minute Christoph Tiede came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Engelbert Heidemann. 0-11. Engelbert Heidemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamal Gläsel in the 85th minute of play. Peter Bührer took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Engelbert Heidemann. Engelbert Heidemann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. 90 minutes into the match, Christoph Tiede had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Engelbert Heidemann. FC Hamburg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christoph Tiede was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-13. FC Hamburg's Engelbert Heidemann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save FC Hamburg from getting a goal against them. DJK Füchtel Vechta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
