In the 8th minute Kong Gang Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Prause saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Apollo Schönbucher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Prause showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antony De Avila, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute of the match West Staines Massive got a corner. FC Eisenberg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kong Gang Feng ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led West Staines Massive's Kong Gang Feng to fire away a dangerous shot which Rene Prause despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, West Staines Massive's goal looked a bit too open when Udo Giehl came free, but Theodor Adorno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florian Galaska during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes West Staines Massive got a freekick which was hit by Florian Galaska. West Staines Massive's Theodor Adorno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Udo Giehl in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Udo Giehl in the 33rd minute of play forced West Staines Massive's goalkeeper Theodor Adorno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Theodor Adorno successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Theodor Adorno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Neumann in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in West Staines Massive's zone, Mario Neumann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theodor Adorno came out of the goal and Mario Neumann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of West Staines Massive booed when FC Eisenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apollo Schönbucher didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximilian Winkelsett in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Theodor Adorno saved West Staines Massive from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FC Eisenberg's Matthijs De Ligt got a free kick in the 77th minute. Rene Prause was a little too slow when Kong Gang Feng got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-1. Rene Prause made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony De Avila in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute Udo Giehl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodor Adorno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 minutes of play, FC Eisenberg's Udo Giehl made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Theodor Adorno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
