The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Albrecht Kowalke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Remo Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tiger's zone, Boubacar Otabo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wolf Poll came out of the goal and Boubacar Otabo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 10 played minutes VfL Bad Nenndorf got a freekick which was hit by Timo Geyer. When Rolf Matzken fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tiger's protests and gave Rolf Matzken a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Rolf Matzken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boubacar Otabo came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wolf Poll could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Tiger's Domingo Vivero got a free kick in the 20th minute. Boubacar Otabo scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wolf Poll, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Timo Geyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Tor Jäger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remo Borges. VfL Bad Nenndorf's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tor Jäger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Wolf Poll made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Boubacar Otabo sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, Tiger's goal looked a bit too open when Timo Geyer came free, but Wolf Poll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VfL Bad Nenndorf's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Clemens Frühauf in the 38th minute. Marcel Köppe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, VfL Bad Nenndorf's goal looked a bit too open when Roswin Westermayer came free, but Remo Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remo Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roswin Westermayer, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If Timo Geyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boubacar Otabo made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Tiger's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Köppe came free, but Wolf Poll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timo Geyer scored 2-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wolf Poll, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wolf Poll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timo Geyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes VfL Bad Nenndorf got a freekick which was hit by Clemens Frühauf. A collision led to VfL Bad Nenndorf getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Clemens Frühauf hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Tiger's Albrecht Kowalke got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Timo Geyer came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the VfL Bad Nenndorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timo Geyer couldn't finish the play. Wolf Poll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Köppe in the 69th minute of the match. Antonius Zagermann kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Wolf Poll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Köppe in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Jäger in the 77th minute of play forced VfL Bad Nenndorf's goalkeeper Remo Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Tiger's Elis Färber to fire away a dangerous shot which Remo Borges despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Timo Geyer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wolf Poll. Tiger's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timo Geyer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 85 minutes into the game, Timo Geyer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Wolf Poll was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 88 minutes into the game, Boubacar Otabo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VfL Bad Nenndorf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tiger the free kick.
