The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for SSV Ulm 1846. Luka Roth stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Laurent Frister. 0-1. If Klemens Hugo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 16 minutes, Anton Galen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Galen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Anton Galen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 22nd match minute, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Toader Kroos's late challenge caught a SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toader Kroos helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Julius Bechstein got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alexander Strzelczyk. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

After having played for 70 minutes, Otfried Lintorf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SSV Ulm 1846's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otfried Lintorf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexander Strzelczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Galen in the 73rd minute of the match. The SSV Ulm 1846 players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
