A collision led to AFC Cherries getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Edvard Kotouč hit a great ball. Guto Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Krejsa in the 33rd minute of the match. With a little luck, AFC Cherries's Guto Jacinto got control of the ball when František Balog tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Luděk Kareš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Bernatík came free, but Nic Nedal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guto Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarolím Jäger in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luděk Kareš in the 41st minute of play forced Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's goalkeeper Nic Nedal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Luděk Kareš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho booed when AFC Cherries was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luděk Kareš didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when František Jakubec stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If František Jakubec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luděk Kareš succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 60th playminute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's goalkeeper Nic Nedal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Konstantin Pospěch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Guto Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 70 in the game by František Jakubec from a close distance when the talented Nic Nedal managed to make a qualified save. Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's players were relieved. Luděk Kareš kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, František Balog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nic Nedal made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Luděk Kareš sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, AFC Cherries's Luděk Kareš ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nic Nedal. Nic Nedal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Nic Nedal made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when František Jakubec sent off a good shot on target. František Jakubec received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nic Nedal came out and tried to block the shot, but František Jakubec slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 88th minute. Luděk Kareš kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AFC Cherries eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
