Gzpn Timisoara's Ştefan Buzilă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Mihele in the 19th minute of play. When Emil Angheloiu fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gzpn Timisoara's protests and gave Emil Angheloiu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of -BZF- The Elder Gods booed when Gzpn Timisoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Angheloiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horaţiu Nastac in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ştefan Buzilă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24thth minute of the game Horaţiu Nastac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gzpn Timisoara's Ştefan Buzilă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. George Aurelianu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Costel Postelnicu in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horaţiu Nastac in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ştefan Buzilă saved Gzpn Timisoara from getting behind. Ştefan Buzilă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luca Mihele's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Gzpn Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Nastac came free, but Ştefan Buzilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ştefan Buzilă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Nastac in the 35th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Horaţiu Nastac's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ştefan Buzilă was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Costel Elefterescu got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luca Mihele. In the 65th minute, Mihăiţă Prunaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gzpn Timisoara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Emil Angheloiu hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Ştefan Buzilă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florin Gârbovan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ştefan Buzilă. Gzpn Timisoara's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Mugur Milcu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gzpn Timisoara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -BZF- The Elder Gods the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Gzpn Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugur Milcu to maneuver through the defense. George Aurelianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toader Baltian, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Horaţiu Nastac could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Ştefan Buzilă made a huge save.
