Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ferdinand Vâlcu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nicu Arghirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Vâlcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Stelian Hulubei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Eugen Plăcintă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Ungur kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Mihail Chimeț recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Sergiu Timaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Sergiu Timaru got a free kick in the 20th minute. Nicu Arghirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Chimeț in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to FC Inter Sibiu getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Emilian Boeru hit a great ball. Eugen Plăcintă made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Augustin Horea sent off a good shot on target. Eugen Plăcintă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Horea in the 37th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Augustin Horea notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Inter Sibiu's Eugen Plăcintă. Eugen Plăcintă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augustin Horea to make the kick off. Ferdinand Vâlcu scored 1-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicu Arghirescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Mihail Chimeț took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Nicu Arghirescu to make any attempt to save it. If Ferdinand Vâlcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Matei kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of Club Sportiv Medgidia booed when FC Inter Sibiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Vâlcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, FC Inter Sibiu's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Aplugăriței came free, but Eugen Plăcintă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stelian Hulubei was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Mihail Chimeț received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicu Arghirescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Mihail Chimeț slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 81st minute. When Club Sportiv Medgidia's Horea Aplugăriței in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Inter Sibiu's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilian Boeru in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicu Arghirescu saved Club Sportiv Medgidia from getting behind. Ferdinand Vâlcu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicu Arghirescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Club Sportiv Medgidia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Mihail Chimeț scored to the left of an out of position Nicu Arghirescu, making the score, 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Inter Sibiu had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
