The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicu Arghirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 김 즙 in the 4th minute of the match. 김 즙 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Nicu Arghirescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 7 minutes, 김 즙 made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicu Arghirescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 김 즙 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 16 minute of play. If Augustin Horea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Team's Ion Chificeac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Horea in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match Club Sportiv Medgidia got a corner. Alex Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastian Matei ran over to the corner to take the kick. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Sebastian Matei was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ion Chificeac in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Stelian Hulubei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Sportiv Medgidia from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Alex Team booed when Club Sportiv Medgidia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Ungur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Erosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Arghirescu having to interfere. In the 44th minute 김 즙 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Arghirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicu Arghirescu made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when 김 즙 sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 김 즙 to make the kick off. 김 즙 scored 5-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicu Arghirescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 김 즙 in the 56th minute of play. Ion Chificeac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Horea, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Nicu Arghirescu came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Alex Team's Ricardo Erosa. But to his dismay, Ricardo Erosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 66 minutes into the match, 김 즙 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicu Arghirescu. Club Sportiv Medgidia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 김 즙 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Ricardo Erosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nicu Arghirescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornel Bodiu charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornel Bodiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ion Chificeac acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sebastian Matei. After a rather tough play, Alex Team's João Francisco Moura got a free kick in the 81st minute. Nicu Arghirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 김 즙, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Club Sportiv Medgidia's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Arruda came free, but Nicu Arghirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Alex Team getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Manuel Arruda hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes Alex Team got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Bodiu. Alex Team walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
