Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) FC Inter Sibiu's Ferdinand Vâlcu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Vâlcu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niculae Andronescu. FC Ruscova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinand Vâlcu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 6 played minutes FC Inter Sibiu got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Vâlcu. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantin Bota during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Constantin Bota kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. FC Inter Sibiu's Eugen Plăcintă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Filipoiu in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Marian Rada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ruscova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marian Rada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute Sergiu Oneț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Plăcintă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Inter Sibiu's Șerban Sălcudeanu got a free kick in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Hâjdău in the 18th minute of play forced FC Inter Sibiu's goalkeeper Eugen Plăcintă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Vâlcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Andronescu having to interfere. Cazimir Mocanu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Maxim Hâjdău sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Inter Sibiu's Eugen Plăcintă didn't even have to move. If Marian Rada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergiu Oneț charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergiu Oneț the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Sergiu Oneț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Vâlcu notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC Ruscova's Niculae Andronescu. Niculae Andronescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, FC Inter Sibiu's Avram Enachescu got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Sergiu Oneț made the kick off in the second half. After 70 played minutes FC Inter Sibiu got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Corocăescu. Marian Rada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Sergiu Oneț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iosif Filipoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Plăcintă having to interfere. Horaţiu Corocăescu kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. FC Ruscova's attack was well implemented in the 88th minute, but when Sergiu Oneț was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Ferdinand Vâlcu kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Eugen Plăcintă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Oneț, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Sergiu Oneț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Eugen Plăcintă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihail Chimeț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Andronescu having to interfere. FC Ruscova's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
