Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) After 3 minutes of play, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Robert Vătavu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugen Plăcintă was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 7 played minutes FC Inter Sibiu got a freekick which was hit by Cazimir Mocanu. After some careless play in the FC Inter Sibiu defense, Manuel Cozorici kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugen Plăcintă. The FC Inter Sibiu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugen Plăcintă should have stopped the shot. Răzvan Boieru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Eugen Plăcintă made a huge save. In the 21st minute, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Robert Vătavu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 28th match minute, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebiu Chibulcutean to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinand Vâlcu kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Eugen Plăcintă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Boieru, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Șerban Sălcudeanu's late challenge caught a MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Șerban Sălcudeanu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Șerban Sălcudeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Dan Stelaru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eugen Plăcintă. The goal made the score 6-0. Eugen Plăcintă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Vătavu in the 38th minute of the match. Eugen Plăcintă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Vătavu in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th play minute Răzvan Boieru came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eugen Plăcintă. 7-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dan Stelaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dan Stelaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugen Plăcintă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Stelaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Inter Sibiu getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Constantin Bota hit a great ball. Eugen Plăcintă came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Răzvan Boieru. But to his dismay, Răzvan Boieru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Eugen Plăcintă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Cozorici went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. If Manuel Cozorici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, FC Inter Sibiu's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Vătavu came free, but Eugen Plăcintă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugen Plăcintă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Stelaru in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Boieru in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Inter Sibiu's goalkeeper Eugen Plăcintă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugen Plăcintă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Vătavu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Eugen Plăcintă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Boieru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, FC Inter Sibiu's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Boieru came free, but Eugen Plăcintă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugen Plăcintă came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Manuel Cozorici. But to his dismay, Manuel Cozorici quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. FC Inter Sibiu's Eugen Plăcintă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Stelaru in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV had played much better football throughout.
