Ivan Spineanu ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Spineanu in the 26th minute of play forced RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Damian Tender to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Ivan Spineanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RED BLUE STAR the free kick. Iona Tudora struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Damian Tender didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for -BZF- Valea Buzăului. Ionică Buzgar kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iona Tudora in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damian Tender prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, RED BLUE STAR's Damian Tender got control of the ball when Ionică Buzgar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damian Tender took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dănuț Roman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Ivan Spineanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Damian Tender. Damian Tender yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
