Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Albert Panaitoiu got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Emanuel Purcaru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RED BLUE STAR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U Craiova the free kick. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Damian Tender, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 7 minutes in the game, Horea Frumușanu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Damian Tender having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Horea Frumușanu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of RED BLUE STAR's Damian Tender. Damian Tender was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ştefan Stârcea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damian Tender made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horea Frumușanu in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, RED BLUE STAR's Emanuel Purcaru got a free kick in the 20th minute. Horea Frumușanu's late challenge caught a RED BLUE STAR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horea Frumușanu helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes U Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Horea Frumușanu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Panaitoiu in the 25th minute of play forced U Craiova's goalkeeper Nae Pavel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When RED BLUE STAR's Victor Răcănel in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U Craiova's goalie prevented a goal. Damian Tender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Fenici, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 32nd play minutes Sebastian Fenici shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Damian Tender and just under the crossbar into goal. Nae Pavel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Panaitoiu in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Horea Frumușanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Damian Tender. The goal made the score 3-0. Narcis Voiculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Nae Pavel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Fenici was the one to do the kick off. Damian Tender made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Fenici in the 55th minute of play. If Denis Milcoveanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, U Craiova's goalkeeper Nae Pavel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albert Panaitoiu. RED BLUE STAR's Damian Tender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Milcoveanu in the 63rd minute of play. Denis Milcoveanu's late challenge caught a RED BLUE STAR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Milcoveanu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Denis Milcoveanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, U Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Panaitoiu came free, but Nae Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Panaitoiu in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nae Pavel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 77 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's Albert Panaitoiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nae Pavel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Fenici in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Tender saved RED BLUE STAR from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vasile Leucuța during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes RED BLUE STAR got a freekick which was hit by Vasile Leucuța. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Denis Milcoveanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. U Craiova's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Milcoveanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Tender breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute, Horea Frumușanu made a precise shot to the right of Damian Tender. RED BLUE STAR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Horea Frumușanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. U Craiova walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
