FC Lutanu's attentive Lucian Petriceanu managed to snatch the ball when Victor Cojocaru made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. Ştefan Mugur hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lutanu's zone, Mac Allister stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remus Talianu came out of the goal and Mac Allister tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Philip Aelgoet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Philip Aelgoet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Abar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horea Cutieru hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Adolfo Abar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Hortêncio Curvelo made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Lutanu's Patrick Rivard. 66 minutes into the game, Mac Allister cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Remus Talianu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Capablanca kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Lutanu getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Pedrinho Breckenfeld hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Maci -MM-'s Mac Allister slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Remus Talianu. That made the score 0-2 after 75 minutes of play. FC Lutanu's Remus Talianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mac Allister in the 81st minute of play. Gelu Bâru hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. When Mac Allister came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the FC Maci -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mac Allister couldn't finish the play. Horea Cutieru hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Philip Aelgoet managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lutanu's supporters rose to their feet, but Philip Aelgoet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Abar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Isac Prodan replaced Vali Mitu. Victor Cojocaru hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Ilie Cazacu, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The FC Lutanu manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing FC Maci -MM- to win.
