The supporters of AC Ony booed when Granicerul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Ares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cisco Rubial made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Ares in the 12th minute of play. Eusebiu Ianculescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cisco Rubial came out and tried to block the shot, but Eusebiu Ianculescu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Dei in the 18th minute of play forced Granicerul's goalkeeper Remus Vuia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the AC Ony defense, Valeriu Zoreanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cisco Rubial. The AC Ony fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cisco Rubial should have stopped the shot. Remus Vuia came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by AC Ony's Donald Tusk. But to his dismay, Donald Tusk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. AC Ony's Cisco Rubial proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save AC Ony from getting a goal against them. Granicerul's Remus Vuia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Erik Hermansson in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebiu Ianculescu got free with Cisco Rubial in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the game, Ahmet Arif Polatalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Granicerul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Ony the free kick. After 34 played minutes Granicerul got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Arif Polatalp. Cisco Rubial made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebiu Ianculescu in the 36th minute. Iordache Ioneasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jack Ares struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Cisco Rubial didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granicerul.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciprian Caba was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Sven-Erik Hermansson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Remus Vuia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cisco Rubial didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jack Ares went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Boteanu during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Manuel Boteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebiu Ianculescu in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cisco Rubial prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64th minute, Eusebiu Ianculescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Granicerul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. AC Ony made a substitution. Albérico Lameiras replaced Ciprian Caba. In the 73rd minute, Eusebiu Ianculescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cisco Rubial was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Granicerul made a substitution. Codrin Olaru replaced Eusebiu Ianculescu. In the 80th minute, Ciprian Milan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 82nd minute of the match Ahmet Arif Polatalp completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ahmet Arif Polatalp a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Granicerul getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ahmet Arif Polatalp hit a great ball. Feng Qian Chao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Remus Vuia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Tusk in the 91st minute of play forced Granicerul's goalkeeper Remus Vuia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC Ony's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Julio Dei in the 92nd minute. Granicerul's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
