With a little luck, FC Lutanu's Remus Talianu got control of the ball when Donald Tusk tried to sneak it across the goal line. AC Ony's Julio Dei suffered a concussion in the 29th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. In the 31st minute, Matei Hâncu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Sven-Erik Hermansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remus Talianu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Remus Talianu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciprian Caba's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Remus Talianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donald Tusk in the 56th minute of the match. If Petruț Ciolac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd match minute, AC Ony was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albérico Lameiras to maneuver through the defense. AC Ony's Ciprian Milan was substituted for Sven-Erik Hermansson. In the 96th match minute, AC Ony was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pipo Tinto to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AC Ony fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Lutanu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
