After a rather tough play, Viola Invest's Florin Răducioiu got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Constantin Goșa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as AFC Barcelona's Silviu Buzoianu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Şneapotă. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. A collision led to Viola Invest getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Aron Turceanu hit a great ball. In the 11th minute AFC Barcelona were awarded a corner. Petru Ghioane went to the cornerflag to take it. 14 minutes into the game, Panait Bologan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Barcelona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viola Invest the free kick. The supporters of Viola Invest booed when AFC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panait Bologan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remus Durbac hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Iustinian Brezeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Nae Bărboianu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Petrică Arghirescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Viola Invest's Dorin Proca got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 24 minutes of play Viola Invest's Aron Turceanu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Aron Turceanu hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Ionuț Stolnicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Şneapotă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match AFC Barcelona got a corner. Viola Invest's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Petru Ghioane ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on AFC Barcelona's corner Petru Ghioane fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and David Şneapotă quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Viola Invest booed when AFC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Iacobeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constantin Goșa got free with David Şneapotă in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 37 played minutes Viola Invest got a freekick which was hit by Dorin Proca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionuț Stolnicu in the 40th minute of play forced Viola Invest's goalkeeper David Şneapotă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AFC Barcelona's Petru Ghioane shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 42nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by David Şneapotă but with some difficulty. David Şneapotă was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Constantin Goșa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Constantin Goșa really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Constantin Goșa to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionuț Stolnicu in the 52nd minute of play forced Viola Invest's goalkeeper David Şneapotă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Buzoianu came free, but David Şneapotă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Constantin Goșa notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Viola Invest's David Şneapotă. David Şneapotă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute, Ionel Jupân hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 played minutes Viola Invest got a freekick which was hit by Iustinian Brezeanu. Petrică Arghirescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Ionuț Stolnicu notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Viola Invest's David Şneapotă. David Şneapotă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Viola Invest's David Şneapotă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantin Goșa in the 76th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Goșa came free, but David Şneapotă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionuț Stolnicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Şneapotă having to interfere. David Şneapotă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Goșa in the 88th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AFC Barcelona had won after a very even match.
