Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eduard Angheloiu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Piţurcă in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Vintilă Hălmăgeanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cormoranii -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Manuel Negru struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Marian Curtean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cormoranii -MM-. After 22 minutes, Moise Robu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Viitorul Buzau and the Cormoranii -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Moise Robu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marian Curtean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Hălmăgeanu in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Vintilă Hălmăgeanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Marian Curtean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Vintilă Hălmăgeanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Marian Curtean was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eusebiu Godeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Curtean having to interfere. Marian Curtean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vintilă Hălmăgeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Cormoranii -MM- from getting a goal against them. Marian Curtean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vintilă Hălmăgeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 47thth minute of the game Vintilă Hălmăgeanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Marian Curtean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The -BZF- Viitorul Buzau players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cormoranii -MM- were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vintilă Hălmăgeanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Horia Răducanu charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horia Răducanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st match minute, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Răducanu to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Cormoranii -MM-'s Bobby Fischer tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Vintilă Hălmăgeanu took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Marian Curtean to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albert Baican during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Albert Baican got a free kick in the 61st minute. A collision led to -BZF- Viitorul Buzau getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Cazimir Papadima hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's goalkeeper Marian Curtean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vintilă Hălmăgeanu. In the 67th play minute Vintilă Hălmăgeanu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marian Curtean. 0-4. In the 74th minute, Doru Ichim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Cazimir Papadima in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cormoranii -MM-'s Bobby Fischer. Vintilă Hălmăgeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Marian Curtean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Cormoranii -MM- could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than -BZF- Viitorul Buzau throughout the match.
