In the 2nd match minute, Simared -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Humă to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, Simared -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ion Turcescu came free, but Ernest Cazimir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Mădălin Răduț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Cazimir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Simared -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Răduț came free, but Ernest Cazimir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Simared -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Humă to maneuver through the defense. Laurențiu Popescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matei Humă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernest Cazimir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mădălin Răduț in the 30th minute of play. After 32 minutes Simared -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastian Ciolofan who took care of the corner kick. Mădălin Răduț took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernest Cazimir. Ernest Cazimir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Simared -MM-'s Ernest Cazimir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Susara in the 37th minute of play. If Valentin Susara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandria Team08's Ion Turcescu got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandria Team08's Laurențiu Popescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cazimir Curteanu in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cazimir Curteanu was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ion Turcescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexandria Team08's supporters rose to their feet, but Ion Turcescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernest Cazimir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute, Alex Purcaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mădălin Răduț came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ernest Cazimir could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ion Turcescu in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernest Cazimir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute, Valentin Susara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernest Cazimir was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 68th match minute, Alexandria Team08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Ciolofan to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cazimir Curteanu in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurențiu Popescu saved Alexandria Team08 from getting behind. In the 73rd match minute, Simared -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Tonegaru to maneuver through the defense. Simared -MM-'s Ivan Stolniceanu was substituted for Mircea Bâlea. Simared -MM-'s Eric Arghirescu was substituted for Olimpiu Breazu. A collision led to Simared -MM- getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Valer Tonegaru hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Simared -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ion Turcescu came free, but Ernest Cazimir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 played minutes Simared -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Alex Purcaru. Ion Turcescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Cazimir having to interfere. In the 84th minute of the match, Mădălin Răduț got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ernest Cazimir was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Simared -MM-'s Ernest Cazimir got control of the ball when Mădălin Răduț tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute Narcis Dragalina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Popescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Alexandria Team08's Felix Dobrea got a free kick in the 88th minute. Simared -MM-'s Manole Izvoranu was substituted for Tiberiu Huștea. The referee ignored Simared -MM-'s protests and gave Emanuel Chirea a yellow card for diving instead. Sebastian Ciolofan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 96th minute, Ivan Stolniceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandria Team08's Sebastian Ciolofan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 97th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ernest Cazimir but with some difficulty. When the match was over Alexandria Team08 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Simared -MM- throughout the match.
