Everyone was convinced a goal was close when FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s David Tâbârnă in the 4th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Aimilios Manolas was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Uptown Otters through an amazing save. Ionică Mihaiu kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Fabian Kaszubowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Călin Izvoranu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Tearle in the 15th minute of play forced FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Călin Izvoranu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Călin Izvoranu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Tearle in the 22nd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Uptown Otters's goal looked a bit too open when David Tâbârnă came free, but Aimilios Manolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Marius Turcu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aimilios Manolas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to FC PIETROSUL -MM- getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Bogdan Ştercă hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, Uptown Otters's Liviu Zubaşcu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Călin Izvoranu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Martin Pădureanu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Călin Izvoranu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Liviu Zubaşcu went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Liviu Zubaşcu to strike the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Călin Izvoranu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liviu Zubaşcu. After 63 played minutes, Uptown Otters's Liviu Zubaşcu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Călin Izvoranu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uptown Otters reached it. 74 minutes into the match, Liviu Zubaşcu notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Călin Izvoranu. Călin Izvoranu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Uptown Otters made a substitution. Staffan Bergman replaced Karl-Oskar Jonsson. After a rather tough play, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Vlad Brezoi got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Uptown Otters's Fabian Kaszubowski got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Fabian Kaszubowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uptown Otters's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
