With an all-out effort, UFC Veseud's Ionel Panaitoiu threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Robert Dinamite, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. UFC Veseud's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jörgen Skoog in the 8th minute. The corner led UFC Veseud's Jörgen Skoog to fire away a dangerous shot which Ionel Panaitoiu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Robert Dinamite recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ionel Panaitoiu. Robert Dinamite showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cántaro Viladrosa in the 15th minute of play forced Phoenix Strikers's goalkeeper Ionel Panaitoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ionel Panaitoiu was a little too slow when Sabin Ghionescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 2-0. Ionel Panaitoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabin Ghionescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Jörgen Skoog could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Ionel Panaitoiu made a huge save. The supporters of UFC Veseud booed when Phoenix Strikers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionuț Romeo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ionel Panaitoiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Dinamite's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Dinu Cănănău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horaţiu Dinulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Robert Dinamite's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ionel Panaitoiu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nistor Curcă made in the 42nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and David Mocanu immediately put the ball in play. In the 45th minute, Dan Muscaș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Robert Dinamite came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the UFC Veseud fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Dinamite couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horaţiu Dinulescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ionel Panaitoiu came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by UFC Veseud's Dan Muscaș. But to his dismay, Dan Muscaș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When Robert Dinamite came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the UFC Veseud fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Dinamite couldn't finish the play. After having played for 57 minutes, Robert Dinamite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UFC Veseud's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Dinamite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Robert Dinamite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Phoenix Strikers's Ionel Panaitoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Dinamite in the 58th minute of play. David Mocanu made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by UFC Veseud's Eliodor Durbacă. In the 76th minute, Adrian Brăiloiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Phoenix Strikers's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Muscaș came free, but Ionel Panaitoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dan Muscaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Dinamite scored 6-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ionel Panaitoiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ionel Panaitoiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dan Muscaș's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. UFC Veseud's Robert Dinamite managed to work through Phoenix Strikers's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Robert Dinamite dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 88th minute, one of Phoenix Strikers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Phoenix Strikers. Phoenix Strikers:s Ionel Panaitoiu showed great skill when he stopped Jörgen Skoog:s penalty. After some careless play in the Phoenix Strikers defense, Dan Muscaș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ionel Panaitoiu. The Phoenix Strikers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ionel Panaitoiu should have stopped the shot. Dan Muscaș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Dinamite in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionel Panaitoiu saved Phoenix Strikers from getting behind. Nistor Curcă hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the UFC Veseud players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
