In the 18th minute David Tâbârnă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Afloroaiei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Călin Izvoranu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trayko Mendov, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. It was a well-played corner which Demetrio Domenghini managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorin Busuioceanu during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dorin Busuioceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to Vlashers getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Lucky Luciano hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasile Hâncu got free with Horea Afloroaiei in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the match, Vlashers's goal looked a bit too open when Dorin Busuioceanu came free, but Horea Afloroaiei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Marius Levința cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Călin Izvoranu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Vlashers were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Vlashers's Horea Afloroaiei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Tâbârnă in the 58th minute of play. David Tâbârnă struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Horea Afloroaiei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC PIETROSUL -MM-. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octav Martinaș in the 68th minute of play forced Vlashers's goalkeeper Horea Afloroaiei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horea Afloroaiei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Martinaș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Octav Martinaș fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s protests and gave Octav Martinaș a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC PIETROSUL -MM- getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Octav Martinaș hit a great ball.
