In the 21st minute Sabin Vâlcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Covrig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sabin Vâlcu got free with Vlad Covrig in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of FC Berea booed when PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Amuguroancei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vlad Covrig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Posteucă, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Basarab Arotăriței went to the cornerflag to take it. Vlad Covrig came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Berea's Adam Posteucă. But to his dismay, Adam Posteucă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 93rd minute, Adam Posteucă made a precise shot to the right of Vlad Covrig. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Posteucă in the 97th minute of play.
