In the 3rd minute Victor Piţurcă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Hermansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emerald's Damian Furlit quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Irinel Gheondea, made in the 4th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Piţurcă in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Hermansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. BlueLionesse's Jonas Hermansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Vermeşan in the 8th minute of play. Bogdan Lobonț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Ştefănuţ, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A collision led to Emerald getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Damian Furlit hit a great ball. Bogdan Lobonț came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by BlueLionesse's Amedeo Melis. But to his dismay, Amedeo Melis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jonas Hermansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Piţurcă in the 19th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Piţurcă in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Hermansson saved BlueLionesse from getting behind. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind BlueLionesse's goalkeeper Jonas Hermansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 34 played minutes BlueLionesse got a freekick which was hit by Amedeo Melis. In the 35th minute, Zhuang Quan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Carioca in the 35th minute of play forced BlueLionesse's goalkeeper Jonas Hermansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Piţurcă might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Hermansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Piţurcă ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonas Hermansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Piţurcă in the 39th minute of play. Jonas Hermansson was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Victor Piţurcă capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victor Piţurcă really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 46th match minute, Emerald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Félix Júnior to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augustin Ştefănuţ made a kick off. Irinel Gheondea kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Gabriel Vermeşan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudiu Mârza charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudiu Mârza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Claudiu Mârza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Piţurcă in the 60th minute of play forced BlueLionesse's goalkeeper Jonas Hermansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Victor Piţurcă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Hermansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emerald's Jaime Carioca was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonas Hermansson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jonas Hermansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Piţurcă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudiu Mârza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Bogdan Lobonț made a huge save. Amedeo Melis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Bogdan Lobonț made a huge save. In the 76thth minute of the game Augustin Ştefănuţ who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Emerald's Bogdan Lobonț was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Irinel Gheondea in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Emerald's Damian Furlit. 83 minutes into the game, Irinel Gheondea threw the ball into play from the sideline. Emerald's Ferdinand Condrea quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Irinel Gheondea made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Emerald's Damian Furlit. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Gabriel Vermeşan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Emerald's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Vermeşan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Hermansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded BlueLionesse left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Emerald.
