The audience thought a goal was coming when Gică Melinte got free with Eugen Jupân in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. DINAMO's Eugen Jupân played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Melinte in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Nenciu to maneuver through the defense. Delphine Stars's Cristian Baștină played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Borcz in the 16th minute of play. Eugen Jupân made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Tiberiu in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucrețiu Nicodim to maneuver through the defense. Gică Melinte struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Eugen Jupân didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Delphine Stars. Cristian Baștină didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryszard Borcz went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute, Lucrețiu Nicodim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basarab Zburliş in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Baștină saved Delphine Stars from getting behind. With a little luck, DINAMO's Eugen Jupân got control of the ball when Gică Melinte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manole Bălășoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Tiberiu to maneuver through the defense. The Delphine Stars players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. DINAMO were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basarab Zburliş to strike the kick off in the second half. Eugen Jupân came out of the goal in the 50th minute to try and stop a shot by Delphine Stars's Emanuel Tiberiu. But to his dismay, Emanuel Tiberiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Melinte in the 53rd minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Eugen Jupân to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugen Jupân showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Tiberiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. With his leg Cristian Baștină managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when DINAMO's Basarab Zburliş fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ryszard Borczs short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Cristian Baștină to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristian Baștină showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Borcz in the 68th minute of the match. Lucrețiu Nicodim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Baștină having to interfere. A collision led to Delphine Stars getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Manole Bălășoiu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Delphine Stars's zone, Lucrețiu Nicodim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Baștină came out of the goal and Lucrețiu Nicodim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. DINAMO played a much better game than Delphine Stars and deserved their victory. The Delphine Stars players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
