The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Bădulescu during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cornel Pantelimon kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Marcos-Evangelista Didarov made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Junior Stover sent off a good shot on target. Mihai Hoancă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiberiu Mischie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Alibert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cao Yi might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiberiu Mischie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cao Yi ran back to his position shaking his head. Tiberiu Mischie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cao Yi, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihai Hoancă in the 30th minute of play. Iulian Lovin's late challenge caught a DINAMO PLOIESTI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iulian Lovin helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Politehnica Timisoara! FC Politehnica Timisoara:s Tiberiu Mischie showed great skill when he stopped Denis Alibert:s penalty. A well-hit corner resulted in Emanuel Bădulescu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 37 played minutes DINAMO PLOIESTI got a freekick which was hit by Denis Alibert. After a rather tough play, DINAMO PLOIESTI's Denis Alibert got a free kick in the 41st minute. Tiberiu Mischie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Alibert, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Alex Paveliuc hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Tiberiu Mischie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cao Yi in the 55th minute of play. Tiberiu Mischie was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Emanuel Bădulescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emanuel Bădulescu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Mihai Hoancă came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tiberiu Mischie could save by the left post. DINAMO PLOIESTI's Marcos-Evangelista Didarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Koren in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Denis Alibert made a precise shot to the right of Tiberiu Mischie. FC Politehnica Timisoara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Cobzeanu in the 66th minute of play forced DINAMO PLOIESTI's goalkeeper Marcos-Evangelista Didarov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 minutes, Denis Alibert made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the FC Politehnica Timisoara defense, Denis Alibert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiberiu Mischie. The FC Politehnica Timisoara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiberiu Mischie should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the match, FC Politehnica Timisoara's goalkeeper Tiberiu Mischie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Alibert. After 75 played minutes FC Politehnica Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Robert Koren. In the 77th minute, DINAMO PLOIESTI's Cao Yi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tiberiu Mischie. Tiberiu Mischie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. In the 80th minute of the match Quentin Bena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiberiu Mischie showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 84th minute Junior Stover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos-Evangelista Didarov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Robert Koren fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Politehnica Timisoara's protests and gave Robert Koren a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Robert Koren got a free kick in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the game, Mihai Hoancă recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tiberiu Mischie. Mihai Hoancă showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. 89 minutes into the match, Mihai Hoancă notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie. Tiberiu Mischie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 92 minutes into the match, FC Politehnica Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Bădulescu came free, but Tiberiu Mischie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Pompiliu Cobzeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pompiliu Cobzeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Cao Yi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. DINAMO PLOIESTI's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
