If Iordache Arșanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 7 played minutes Adevarul Pur got a freekick which was hit by Iustinian Focșa. Costin Stănculescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelian Fundătoreanu in the 12th minute. Costin Stănculescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iordache Arșanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Iordache Arșanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Costin Stănculescu. Iordache Arșanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Victor Iorda might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Costin Stănculescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Iorda ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th match minute, SuperDepor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Iorda to maneuver through the defense. Alex Crâșmaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Şuteu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes of play, Adevarul Pur's Eduard Şuteu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Crâșmaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adevarul Pur's Costin Stănculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelian Fundătoreanu in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Victor Iorda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costin Stănculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes, Mihăiţă Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Adevarul Pur and the SuperDepor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Adevarul Pur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Costa to maneuver through the defense. Costin Stănculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordache Arșanu in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Damian Bocșa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costin Stănculescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iordache Arșanu in the 37th minute of play. After 41 minutes, Iordache Arșanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SuperDepor and the Adevarul Pur players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SuperDepor's Iordache Arșanu got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Deliman in the 43rd minute of play forced SuperDepor's goalkeeper Alex Crâșmaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, SuperDepor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Paulică to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iordache Arșanu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Iordache Arșanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Costin Stănculescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 54 minutes into the match, SuperDepor's Manole Ipate sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Costin Stănculescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adevarul Pur's Costin Stănculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordache Arșanu in the 58th minute of play. Stelian Cruceru kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Alex Crâșmaru made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Filip Călimanescu sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the game, Victor Encuțu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SuperDepor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Adevarul Pur the free kick. Victor Encuțu kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, SuperDepor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Encuțu to maneuver through the defense. If Grigore Nichitelea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihăiţă Costa hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Victor Iorda struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Costin Stănculescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SuperDepor. 79 minutes into the game, Victor Iorda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Costin Stănculescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SuperDepor's Victor Iorda got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Filip Călimanescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adevarul Pur's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Călimanescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Crâșmaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costin Stănculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelian Fundătoreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihăiţă Costa hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the game, Aurelian Fundătoreanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Costin Stănculescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SuperDepor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Adevarul Pur had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
