The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Ionuț Nicolescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavril Turceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costică Brânzaș succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 8th playminute. 12 minutes into the match, Ionuț Nicolescu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Gavril Turceanu. Gavril Turceanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th minute, Ionuț Nicolescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavril Turceanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When Martin Bunoaică fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THE CRYSTAL SHIP's protests and gave Martin Bunoaică a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Martin Bunoaică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernest Ştati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Văcaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ionuț Nicolescu in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavril Turceanu saved THE CRYSTAL SHIP from getting behind. After 31st play minutes Ionuț Nicolescu shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Gavril Turceanu and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Costică Brânzaș took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Gavril Turceanu to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ionuț Nicolescu hit a great ball. After 40th play minutes Sorin Lipan shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Gavril Turceanu and just under the crossbar into goal. Gavril Turceanu made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ionuț Nicolescu sent off a good shot on target. Martin Bunoaică hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Sorin Lipan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gavril Turceanu. Gavril Turceanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of THE CRYSTAL SHIP booed when Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustinian Spirea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the THE CRYSTAL SHIP defense, Sorin Lipan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavril Turceanu. The THE CRYSTAL SHIP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavril Turceanu should have stopped the shot. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Gavril Turceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionuț Nicolescu in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Sorin Lipan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavril Turceanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. When Costică Brânzaș came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costică Brânzaș couldn't finish the play. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Ion Iftodi was substituted for Costică Brânzaș. In the 83rd minute, Sorin Lipan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavril Turceanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. In the 89th minute, Nicodim Zogreanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavril Turceanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. 15-0 became the score in the 93rd minute when Sorin Lipan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicodim Zogreanu in the 99th minute of play forced THE CRYSTAL SHIP's goalkeeper Gavril Turceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
