Edgar Oblemenco charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The crowd rose to their feet as Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Sorin Lipan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Helmuth Duckadam. That made the score 0-2 after 74 minutes of play. In the 81st minute of the match F.C. YKE got a corner. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Helmuth Duckadam showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
