The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Paulică came free, but Nistor Arjoca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Aristide Bucataru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Vârșan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristide Bucataru took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Corneliu Vârșan. Corneliu Vârșan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Nistor Arjoca came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Tornadele Siret's Călin Paulică. But to his dismay, Călin Paulică quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 24 minutes into the match, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Iorda came free, but Nistor Arjoca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iustin Iorda in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nistor Arjoca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tornadele Siret's Corneliu Vârșan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilian Ciprian in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Emilian Ciprian got a free kick in the 34th minute. Cristian Ignătoiu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nistor Arjoca. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 44 minutes, Eusebiu Davidescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tornadele Siret and the -BZF- Petrolul Berca players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eusebiu Davidescu hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Eliodor Birișu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Corneliu Vârșan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilian Ciprian to make the kick off. Călin Paulică received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Nistor Arjoca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Tornadele Siret's goal looked a bit too open when Mihai Opriș came free, but Corneliu Vârșan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Iustin Iorda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Arjoca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to -BZF- Petrolul Berca getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Adrian Almăgean hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Tornadele Siret's Nicolae Manafu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Iustin Iorda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Aristide Bucataru got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute Iustin Iorda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Arjoca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebiu Davidescu in the 81st minute of play forced -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goalkeeper Nistor Arjoca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihai Opriș hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Iorda came free, but Nistor Arjoca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Tornadele Siret's goal looked a bit too open when Aristide Bucataru came free, but Corneliu Vârșan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Mihai Opriș notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Tornadele Siret's Corneliu Vârșan. Corneliu Vârșan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nistor Arjoca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolae Manafu in the 91st minute. Nistor Arjoca made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Nicolae Manafu sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the game, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Eliodor Birișu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corneliu Vârșan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
