Petre Vătăşel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Beșliu kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Chi Thaae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Beșliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Nicolae Dragușin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iustin Iorda in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chi Thaae saved Avantul Hirlau from getting behind. Petre Vătăşel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nicolae Dragușin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. Chi Thaae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolae Manafu in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Iustin Iorda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chi Thaae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes Tornadele Siret got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Răţescu. Pompiliu Șeimeanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Petre Vătăşel. Tornadele Siret's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Viorel Dobrițoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Petre Vătăşel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avantul Hirlau's Nicolae Dragușin got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Tornadele Siret getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ferdinand Mihălțan hit a great ball. Avantul Hirlau's Pompiliu Șeimeanu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tornadele Siret. Avantul Hirlau's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pompiliu Șeimeanu in the 69th minute. Pompiliu Șeimeanu made a great header on Avantul Hirlau's corner, it was just that Tornadele Siret's Petre Vătăşel managed to reach the ball for a save. After 72 played minutes Tornadele Siret got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Mihălțan. After 83 played minutes Tornadele Siret got a freekick which was hit by Călin Paulică. After 86 played minutes Iustin Iorda could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-1 into the left cross. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
