Niculae Isvoreanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emilian Ciprian's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the match, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goal looked a bit too open when Nistor Iftimescu came free, but Nistor Arjoca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes Club Vertigo got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Macrea. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Emilian Ciprian couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club Vertigo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilian Ciprian in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niculae Isvoreanu saved Club Vertigo from getting behind. Adrian Almăgean charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Almăgean the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adrian Almăgean hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. If Sabin Corcoveanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Niculae Isvoreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Ciprian, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Nistor Iftimescu kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Nistor Arjoca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Iftimescu in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Viorel Pârvulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sabin Corcoveanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Coșereanu in the 57th minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Niculae Isvoreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Vertigo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -BZF- Petrolul Berca the free kick. After 63 played minutes Club Vertigo got a freekick which was hit by Nechifor Cucerdean. 65 minutes into the game, Sabin Corcoveanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Vertigo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -BZF- Petrolul Berca the free kick.
