Mihăiţă Voina took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codruț Frunză. Codruț Frunză dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Marcu Gavra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcu Gavra to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FC aDeX's goalkeeper Codruț Frunză had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marian Drogoreanu. 53 minutes into the match, FC aDeX's goal looked a bit too open when George Plopeanu came free, but Codruț Frunză reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinu Bungescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Codruț Frunză made a huge save. In the 61st minute Marcu Gavra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Suşu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Codruț Frunză didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marian Drogoreanu went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Florin Suşu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcu Gavra, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Florin Suşu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Capșuneanu in the 87th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC aDeX's Codruț Frunză got control of the ball when Marian Drogoreanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dinu Bungescu charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
