Marian Balint could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Codruț Frunză made a huge save. 16 minutes into the game, Marian Balint recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Codruț Frunză. Marian Balint showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 22 minutes into the match, FC aDeX's goalkeeper Codruț Frunză had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marian Balint. In the 30th minute, New York Red Bulls's George Schiau ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Codruț Frunză. Codruț Frunză yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 34 minutes into the match, Marian Balint had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Codruț Frunză. FC aDeX's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marian Balint was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 44 minutes into the game, George Schiau recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Codruț Frunză. George Schiau showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. Codruț Frunză was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but George Schiau showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-1 in the 48 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Marcu Gavra made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Cristinel Alamaru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New York Red Bulls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC aDeX the free kick. 62 minutes into the match, New York Red Bulls's goalkeeper Eduardo Pereyra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcu Gavra. Codruț Frunză showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Tatomir, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Traian Tatomir left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New York Red Bulls fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Codruț Frunză took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Schiau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, New York Red Bulls's goalkeeper Eduardo Pereyra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcu Gavra. FC aDeX's Codruț Frunză played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Tatomir in the 85th minute of play. Bogdan Bejgăneanu's late challenge caught a New York Red Bulls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bogdan Bejgăneanu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of New York Red Bulls booed when FC aDeX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Bejgăneanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Djordje Mironovski's late challenge caught a New York Red Bulls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Djordje Mironovski helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee ended the match the New York Red Bulls players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
