After a rather tough play, YR☆Bald Eagle™'s Emil Danciu got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute, Rareș Tăutu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nazım Taci took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorin Trif. Dorin Trif dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 7th match minute, New York Red Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Alamaru to maneuver through the defense. Dong Hong Jian's late challenge caught a YR☆Bald Eagle™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dong Hong Jian helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to New York Red Bulls getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dong Hong Jian hit a great ball. Eduardo Pereyra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vintilă Ticulescu in the 20th minute. A hard shot 25 in the game by Vintilă Ticulescu from a close distance when the talented Eduardo Pereyra managed to make a qualified save. New York Red Bulls's players were relieved. A collision led to New York Red Bulls getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Liviu Bărănescu hit a great ball. YR☆Bald Eagle™'s George Trifan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eduardo Pereyra but with some difficulty. Nazım Taci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eduardo Pereyra was a little too slow when Cornel Rada got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vintilă Ticulescu made a kick off. Nazım Taci received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dorin Trif came out and tried to block the shot, but Nazım Taci slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the match, YR☆Bald Eagle™'s goal looked a bit too open when Nazım Taci came free, but Dorin Trif reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. New York Red Bulls's Eduardo Pereyra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Rada in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute Nazım Taci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorin Trif saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorin Trif showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazım Taci, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. New York Red Bulls's Eduardo Pereyra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vintilă Ticulescu in the 67th minute of play. YR☆Bald Eagle™'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Nazım Taci scored to the left of an out of position Dorin Trif, making the score, 1-3. After a rather tough play, YR☆Bald Eagle™'s Cristinel Lipan got a free kick in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Nazım Taci recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dorin Trif. Nazım Taci showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. In the 81st minute, New York Red Bulls's Nazım Taci ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dorin Trif. Dorin Trif yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazım Taci in the 86th minute of play forced YR☆Bald Eagle™'s goalkeeper Dorin Trif to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. New York Red Bulls's Liviu Bărănescu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rareș Tăutu, made in the 93rd minute of the game. Eduardo Pereyra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornel Rada in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. New York Red Bulls walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
