With a little luck, FC GURZUN's Cătălin Dăianu got control of the ball when Narcis Ţipirig tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC GURZUN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Valentin Urdăreanu made the kick off in the second half. If Iustinian Drăghincescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 54 minutes into the match, Narcis Ţipirig notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of FC GURZUN's Cătălin Dăianu. Cătălin Dăianu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 56 minutes into the game, FC Luck's Eduard Mutu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cătălin Dăianu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. A throw-in in the 64th minute of the game was made by Costin Croitoru with Valentin Urdăreanu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Eduard Mutu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Narcis Ţipirig put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cătălin Dăianu.
