Albert Brezeanu was slow to take the kick. During this time Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s Adam Troncotă getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolae Craia made a kick off. In the last second Adam Vădan throw himself and got hold of the ball when Moise Bâru in the 59thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Călin Itoafă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Adam Vădan made a huge save. AC MiLaN's Moise Bâru got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stelian Vădan hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Adam Vădan made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Mihail Albulescu sent off a good shot on target. Călin Itoafă's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Adam Vădan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s zone, Călin Itoafă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Vădan came out of the goal and Călin Itoafă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moise Bâru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Vădan having to interfere.
