Adam Vădan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TAXI-MM-. After having played for 9 minutes, Virgil Petrescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgil Petrescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. TAXI-MM-'s Corneliu Chirea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save TAXI-MM- from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute, Mihai Suluțiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelian Tunaru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adam Vădan having to make a save. Mihai Suluțiu hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Mugur Milcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Vădan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corneliu Chirea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolae Craia's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After 40 minutes of play, Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s Nicolae Craia made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Corneliu Chirea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicolae Craia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Corneliu Chirea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolae Craia to make the kick off. Ernest Strugure sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corneliu Chirea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yin Chong Nan in the 59th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Mihai Suluțiu made a precise shot to the right of Corneliu Chirea. TAXI-MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 74 minutes into the match, Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Strugure came free, but Adam Vădan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corneliu Chirea came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s Nicolae Craia. But to his dismay, Nicolae Craia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 81 played minutes Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM- got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Marchiș. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Mugur Milcu managed to get in a good position for a shot. TAXI-MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Mugur Milcu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Vădan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. TAXI-MM-'s Corneliu Chirea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mircea Gabrea in the 84th minute of play. After 86 played minutes TAXI-MM- got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Strugure. After 87 played minutes Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM- got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Prestes. When Mugur Milcu came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the TAXI-MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mugur Milcu couldn't finish the play. Adam Vădan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nae Neguțu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 98th play minutes Nicolae Craia shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Corneliu Chirea and just under the crossbar into goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM- had played much better football throughout.
