Bogdan Bogdanović started the match with the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 7 minutes into the game, when Druțu Daniel put in a rough tackle. In the 6th minute, one of Club 23:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club 23. After 8 minutes of play, A4p FC Gad's Petru Tărău made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sören Malmberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olimpiu Târlea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Bogdanović, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Sören Malmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Grigoroiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Dracena scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olimpiu Târlea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Olimpiu Târlea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Dracena in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Bogdan Bogdanović had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olimpiu Târlea. A4p FC Gad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bogdan Bogdanović was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The supporters of Club 23 booed when A4p FC Gad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matei Filipoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the A4p FC Gad defense, Cássio Dracena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olimpiu Târlea. The A4p FC Gad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olimpiu Târlea should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the game, Emil Cioran threw the ball into play from the sideline. A4p FC Gad's Remus Chițes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 47 minutes into the match, Cássio Dracena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olimpiu Târlea. A4p FC Gad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cássio Dracena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. After the first half Club 23 were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petru Tărău made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Dracena in the 54th minute of play forced A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Olimpiu Târlea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Codrin Dragalina struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Sören Malmberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A4p FC Gad. Olimpiu Târlea made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Cássio Dracena sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Club 23 booed when A4p FC Gad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Grigoroiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cássio Dracena got free with Olimpiu Târlea in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olimpiu Târlea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sören Malmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codrin Dragalina in the 71st minute of play. Club 23's Cássio Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute Cássio Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Târlea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Club 23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Ciolofan to maneuver through the defense. A4p FC Gad's Olimpiu Târlea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Bogdanović in the 79th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Olimpiu Târlea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, A4p FC Gad's Olimpiu Târlea got control of the ball when Cássio Dracena tried to sneak it across the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Club 23's Bogdan Bogdanović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olimpiu Târlea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. When Felix Grigoroiu fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A4p FC Gad's protests and gave Felix Grigoroiu a yellow card for diving instead. Felix Grigoroiu hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Olimpiu Târlea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cássio Dracena. After a rather tough play, A4p FC Gad's Codrin Dragalina got a free kick in the 91st minute.
