After 32 minutes of play, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Tahsin Paksu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilian Ferenț was left in no man's land by his defense there! Angelo Rage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Patricio Isias kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Carlos Bezerra to make the kick off.
