Rasnita's Manuel Hogaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Armando Maradona in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Diego Armando Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Hogaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Hogaș stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Armando Maradona's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The supporters of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L booed when Rasnita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelu Filip didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Rasnita's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Armando Maradona came free, but Manuel Hogaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Rage might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Hogaș. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Rage ran back to his position shaking his head. Rasnita's Manuel Hogaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Armando Maradona in the 33rd minute of play. Manuel Hogaș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Rage in the 35th minute of play. The corner led C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Horea Vrejiu to fire away a dangerous shot which Manuel Hogaș despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to C Ａ R D I N Ａ L getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Horea Vrejiu hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gheorghe Stoiciu made a kick off. In the 50th minute Diego Armando Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Hogaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Hogaș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Armando Maradona, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Diego Armando Maradona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Manuel Hogaș made a huge save. Ingvar Hellkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Doicaru in the 59th minute of play. Gheorghe Stoiciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Hellkvist having to interfere. Rasnita's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Diego Armando Maradona scored to the left of an out of position Manuel Hogaș, making the score, 0-1. 71 minutes into the match, Rasnita's goalkeeper Manuel Hogaș had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Armando Maradona. Emanuel Huidu hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goalkeeper Ingvar Hellkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angelo Rage kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. With a little luck, Rasnita's Manuel Hogaș got control of the ball when Diego Armando Maradona tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 80 played minutes Rasnita got a freekick which was hit by Paul Ene. If Gheorghe Stoiciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Iosif Doicaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rasnita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iosif Doicaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Rasnita's goalkeeper Manuel Hogaș had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Armando Maradona. In the 94th match minute, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Rage to maneuver through the defense. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Ingvar Hellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Stoiciu in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
