Dinu Slicaru took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Ciociu. Victor Ciociu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dumitru Bogătean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Ciociu having to interfere. Dinu Slicaru scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Ciociu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16thth minute of the game Dinu Slicaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Progresul Pitesti's Victor Ciociu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Dinu Slicaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Ciociu was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After 19 minutes of play, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Dinu Slicaru made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Ciociu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 23 minutes, Dinu Slicaru made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Progresul Pitesti's Victor Ciociu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Victor Ciociu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dinu Slicaru went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Dinu Slicaru succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. Dinu Slicaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Dinu Slicaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Ciociu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. After a rather tough play, Progresul Pitesti's Mădălin Petruescu got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, Mădălin Petruescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half GoooooooooooooooooooooooL were leading 1-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dinu Slicaru was the one to do the kick off. Victor Ciociu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Slicaru in the 55th minute of the match. After 56 minutes, Dinu Slicaru made it 1-8 with a short kick to the right side. Progresul Pitesti's Victor Ciociu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Progresul Pitesti's Victor Ciociu got control of the ball when Dinu Slicaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 67 minutes, Dinu Slicaru made it 1-9 with a short kick to the right side. Progresul Pitesti's Victor Ciociu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute, Dinu Slicaru made a precise shot to the right of Victor Ciociu. Progresul Pitesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-11. In the 82nd minute, Dinu Slicaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Ciociu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-12. Mihăiţă Şchiopu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Luca Brădescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mădălin Petruescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Progresul Pitesti's Aristide Cordescu got a free kick in the 89th minute. When GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Dinu Slicaru in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Progresul Pitesti's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Dumitru Bogătean took a quick shot and it went in 1-13 without a chance for Victor Ciociu to make any attempt to save it.
