The Progresul Pitesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Ciociu should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the game, Cristian Pricop cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Victor Ciociu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute, Ernest Feteanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 27 minutes, Valer Dinculescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Progresul Pitesti and the ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ players grew even worse after the yellow card. 32 minutes into the match, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Cristian Pricop sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Ciociu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Gigi Stanciu sped through Progresul Pitesti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victor Ciociu. Cristian Pricop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Ciociu having to interfere. After 40 minutes of play, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Gigi Stanciu made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Ciociu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the match, Gigi Stanciu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Ciociu. Progresul Pitesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigi Stanciu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dragoş Oloieru made a kick off. Victor Ciociu was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Cristian Pricop capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Pricop really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. In the 56th play minute Cristian Pricop came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Victor Ciociu. 0-10. Gigi Stanciu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Ciociu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Victor Ciociu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigi Stanciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Răzvan Receanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ got a freekick which was hit by Codrin Turbatu. Dragoş Oloieru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Volosin having to interfere. Victor Ciociu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gigi Stanciu's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Gigi Stanciu had several of the Progresul Pitesti's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-11 score and a disappointed Victor Ciociu as he didn't even see the shot coming. 79 minutes into the match, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Cristian Pricop sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Ciociu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Cristian Pricop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Pricop succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-12 in the 82nd playminute. Codrin Turbatu kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Cristian Pricop reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Victor Ciociu. The goal made the score 0-13. Cristian Pricop succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-14 in the 91st playminute. In the 94th minute, Gigi Stanciu made a precise shot to the right of Victor Ciociu. Progresul Pitesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-15. When the final whistle sounded ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Progresul Pitesti.
