Vasile Ecobici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristi Boboc in the 3rd minute of the match. Robert Tudor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iosif Foltea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Robert Tudor fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Robert Tudor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Foltea having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Robert Tudor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iosif Foltea was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. The VIP fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when VIP's Robert Tudor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Iosif Foltea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Tudor in the 33rd minute of play. Robert Tudor might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iosif Foltea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Tudor ran back to his position shaking his head. A sloppy throw-in by Cristi Ciuvică in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by VIP's Nichifor Onișoru. When VIP's Robert Tudor in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's goalie prevented a goal. Robert Tudor took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iosif Foltea. Iosif Foltea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute, Robert Tudor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iosif Foltea was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Robert Tudor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Robert Tudor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristi Ciuvică charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristi Ciuvică the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Cristi Ciuvică got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 69th match minute, VIP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelu Bociort to maneuver through the defense. Iosif Foltea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Tudor in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of VIP booed when ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panait Hrib didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Tudor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emanuel Pacurar took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iosif Foltea. Iosif Foltea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Aurel Gorunescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Robert Tudor came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the VIP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Tudor couldn't finish the play. If Emanuel Pacurar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. VIP had won after a very even match.
