Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Grigore Bilașco got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Ionuț Petrea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sabin Năstase was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ionuț Petrea in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sabin Năstase saved Balaceanu UFC from getting behind. Sabin Năstase took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgil Cumpan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Costel Vieru hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgil Cumpan in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sabin Năstase prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Balaceanu UFC booed when Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Lobonț didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balaceanu UFC's Sabin Năstase played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionuț Petrea in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Balaceanu UFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dorel Dobre hit a great ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Cornel Voinescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornel Voinescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Virgil Cumpan in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Balaceanu UFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 24th match minute, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Şoiman to maneuver through the defense. Aurelian Nicodim came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Iacob Vătăşel could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgil Cumpan in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sabin Năstase saved Balaceanu UFC from getting behind. When Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Virgil Cumpan in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Iacob Vătăşel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely from getting a goal against them. Ivan Lobonț hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Virgil Cumpan made the kick off in the second half. Sabin Năstase made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nae Amuguroancei in the 52nd minute of play. Virgil Cumpan in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sabin Năstase, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Virgil Cumpan hit a great ball. Ionuț Petrea took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sabin Năstase. Sabin Năstase dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Sabin Năstase showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Cumpan in the 63rd minute of the match. After 64 minutes, Ivan Lobonț mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely and the Balaceanu UFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Lobonț. Sabin Năstase showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nae Amuguroancei, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Ionuț Petrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabin Năstase having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Nae Amuguroancei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 79thth minute of the game Virgil Cumpan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balaceanu UFC's Sabin Năstase was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Virgil Cumpan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornel Voinescu kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Sabin Năstase stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ionuț Petrea's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After 91st play minutes Ionuț Petrea shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Sabin Năstase and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
