An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Balaci in the 13th minute of play forced Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goalkeeper Iacob Vătăşel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 played minutes F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Arieșan. After taking down the ball on Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's corner Cornel Voinescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Virgil Crăciun quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Vintilă Arieșan managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Vintilă Arieșan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iacob Vătăşel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vintilă Arieșan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 24 minutes into the match, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Balaci came free, but Iacob Vătăşel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgil Crăciun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Cumpan, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doru Cârju got free with Iacob Vătăşel in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vintilă Arieșan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iacob Vătăşel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ionuț Petrea came free, but Virgil Crăciun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ilie Balaci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 41 minutes Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marius Miclovan who took care of the corner kick. In the 46th minute, Ilie Balaci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Alin Stolniciu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely the free kick. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Manuel Necula quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horea Turlea got free with Virgil Crăciun in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ilie Balaci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Iacob Vătăşel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilie Balaci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iacob Vătăşel having to make a save. A collision led to Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Horea Turlea hit a great ball. Iacob Vătăşel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilie Balaci's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Ionuț Petrea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Virgil Crăciun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Vintilă Arieșan in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goalie prevented a goal. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marius Miclovan took the corner. Iacob Vătăşel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Arieșan in the 91st minute of the match. Iacob Vătăşel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Balaci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nae Amuguroancei came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nae Amuguroancei couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- had won after a very even match.
