After a rather tough play, Balaceanu UFC's Vlad Popete got a free kick in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ioan Brânza in the 17th minute of play forced Balaceanu UFC's goalkeeper Stelian Lalescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Republica Ploiești's goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Bilașco came free, but Manuel Lăcătuș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Firea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stelian Lalescu was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Ferdinand Arnăuțoiu hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Emanuel Firea kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Republica Ploiești's Manuel Lăcătuș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Bilașco in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Balaceanu UFC's goalkeeper Stelian Lalescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dan Godeanu. After 41 played minutes Republica Ploiești got a freekick which was hit by Ioan Brânza. A collision led to Republica Ploiești getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Dan Godeanu hit a great ball. Cazimir Mohora kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dan Godeanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Doru Brânzeu kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Emil Ardelean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Aurelian Nicodim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 57 played minutes Republica Ploiești got a freekick which was hit by Cazimir Mohora. Manuel Lăcătuș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigore Bilașco in the 60th minute of the match. If Aurelian Nicodim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mircea Ivasiuc might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Lăcătuș. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mircea Ivasiuc ran back to his position shaking his head. Manuel Lăcătuș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigore Bilașco in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Republica Ploiești was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cazimir Mohora to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Firea during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emanuel Firea hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Republica Ploiești's Manuel Lăcătuș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Bilașco in the 67th minute of play. When Republica Ploiești's Dan Godeanu in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Balaceanu UFC's goalie prevented a goal. Emil Ardelean kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Balaceanu UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Godeanu came free, but Stelian Lalescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelian Nicodim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Manuel Lăcătuș made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Grigore Bilașco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Lăcătuș was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. If Dan Godeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Republica Ploiești succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Balaceanu UFC had controlled the match.
