Manuel Lăcătuș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nechifor Beșliu in the 3rd minute of play. Manuel Lăcătuș was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nechifor Beșliu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Republica Ploiești's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Nechifor Beșliu scored to the left of an out of position Manuel Lăcătuș, making the score, 2-0. Nechifor Beșliu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Lăcătuș read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Nechifor Beșliu succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Doru Baicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Republica Ploiești getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Costel Lepuș hit a great ball. Cazimir Mohora hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Nechifor Beșliu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manuel Lăcătuș came out and tried to block the shot, but Nechifor Beșliu slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's Nechifor Beșliu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Lăcătuș narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute Dan Godeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halil Utku Evvah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nechifor Beșliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manuel Lăcătuș came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Eintracht Cernavoda's Nechifor Beșliu. But to his dismay, Nechifor Beșliu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Emanuel Firea hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Nechifor Beșliu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manuel Lăcătuș. The goal made the score 6-0. Manuel Lăcătuș didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nechifor Beșliu went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gigel Gologan was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Republica Ploiești got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Hoduț. Gigel Gologan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Lăcătuș read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Halil Utku Evvah had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dan Godeanu. Gigel Gologan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Lăcătuș having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gigel Gologan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Lăcătuș was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Halil Utku Evvah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ioan Brânza in the 61st minute of play. Costel Lepuș made a great header on Republica Ploiești's corner, it was just that Eintracht Cernavoda's Halil Utku Evvah managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Gigel Gologan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Lăcătuș was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Gigel Gologan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eintracht Cernavoda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Eintracht Cernavoda made a substitution. Toader Bogrea replaced Nechifor Beșliu. Narcis Bunescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Lăcătuș having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Gologan in the 72nd minute of play forced Republica Ploiești's goalkeeper Manuel Lăcătuș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Lăcătuș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toader Bogrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Gologan in the 79th minute of play forced Republica Ploiești's goalkeeper Manuel Lăcătuș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Toader Bogrea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Manuel Lăcătuș was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Gigel Gologan sped through Republica Ploiești's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manuel Lăcătuș. Manuel Lăcătuș came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Eintracht Cernavoda's Toader Bogrea. But to his dismay, Toader Bogrea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0.
