Spectators: 167 (Terracing: 126, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Grigore Bilașco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the game, Manuel Necula cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Stelian Lalescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Balaci in the 7th minute of play forced Balaceanu UFC's goalkeeper Stelian Lalescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balaceanu UFC's Stelian Lalescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Balaci in the 13th minute of play. Ivan Andrei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Ilie Balaci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ilie Balaci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stelian Lalescu was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. A collision led to Balaceanu UFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Emilian Gligan hit a great ball. Stelian Lalescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Balaci in the 30th minute of the match. Ilie Balaci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stelian Lalescu having to make a save. In the 33rd minute Ilie Balaci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelian Lalescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Horaţiu Miclescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 played minutes F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Andrei. Ilie Balaci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Stelian Lalescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ilie Balaci to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Balaceanu UFC's zone, Ilie Balaci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stelian Lalescu came out of the goal and Ilie Balaci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stelian Lalescu stood somewhat misplaced when Ilie Balaci came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 55 minute. Virgil Crăciun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigore Bilașco, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Emil Ardelean made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aurelian Nicodim immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Balaci in the 70th minute of play forced Balaceanu UFC's goalkeeper Stelian Lalescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 73 in the game by Ilie Balaci from a close distance when the talented Stelian Lalescu managed to make a qualified save. Balaceanu UFC's players were relieved. Ilie Balaci's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Stelian Lalescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Balaceanu UFC booed when F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doru Cârju didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilie Balaci might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stelian Lalescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ilie Balaci ran back to his position shaking his head. If Ilie Balaci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stelian Lalescu made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Ilie Balaci sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the match, Balaceanu UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Balaci came free, but Stelian Lalescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Andrei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelian Lalescu having to interfere.
